Underfloor Heating

Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating eradicates the need for radiators to be attached to the walls in your rooms, allowing you to make the most of all the space available to you. Radiators will normally run at a temperature of between 60-70ºC but under floor heating only needs to be run at between 30-40ºC to achieve the same level of ambient warmth. This alone instantly saves you money on your energy bills.

Radiators push the heat they produce upwards due to convection, leaving the space nearest the floor to remain cold and the ceiling space to be hot. Any dust that is circulating is simply pushed around the room. This can lead to headaches and sore throats whereas under floor heating will gradually allow heat to rise, and won’t simply circulate the dust around the room. This will also benefit asthma sufferers or people with breathing difficulties. There won’t be any radiators to collect dust or for children to burn themselves on or bump into whilst playing.

It uses less energy than traditional radiator systems too, making it greener and cleaner and lowers the carbon emissions produced which will help sustain our environment. It is silent and maintenance free and could even give you a saving of 15-40% on your energy bills.
